Warranty Summary — Clear & Simple

• This warranty applies only to components and replacement parts sold by 3C-Easy Markham.
• Coverage is limited to manufacturing or material defects.
Installation, labour, and workmanship are not covered.
• No tools, adhesive, or installation services are included.
• Improper installation voids this warranty.


1. Scope of Warranty

3C-Easy Markham (“the Company”) provides a limited component warranty on electronic components and replacement parts sold by the Company, whether purchased online or in-store.

This warranty applies solely to the component itself and covers manufacturing or material defects present at the time of sale, subject to the terms and limitations set forth herein.

This policy does not cover repair services or workmanship, which are governed separately under the Cellphone Repair Warranty Policy when services are performed by the Company.

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes consumer rights that cannot be waived under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (CPA).


2. Warranty Coverage Period

Unless otherwise stated on the product page or receipt:

Batteries Manufacturing defects only Thirty (30) Days
Other Components Manufacturing defects only Thirty (30) Days

Warranty periods begin on the date of purchase.


3. Covered Warranty Claims

During the applicable warranty period, the Company shall, at its sole discretion, replace the component or issue a refund only if the defect is determined by the Company to have resulted directly from:

a) A manufacturing defect; or
b) A material defect present prior to installation or use.

Coverage is limited strictly to the component sold.


4. Exclusions and Limitations

This warranty expressly excludes any defect, damage, or malfunction resulting from:

a) Installation errors, improper handling, or incorrect assembly;
b) Physical damage, liquid damage, or impact damage after purchase;
c) Use of improper tools, adhesive, or techniques;
d) Electrical damage, short-circuiting, or improper testing;
e) Normal wear and tear;
f) Modifications, repairs, or rework by any party other than the Company.

Once a component has been installed, modified, or altered, it is generally not eligible for warranty service, unless the defect is clearly unrelated to installation.


5. Warranty Claim Procedure

To request warranty service, the customer must:

a) Present valid proof of purchase issued by the Company;
b) Provide the component for inspection in its current condition;
c) Cooperate with diagnostic assessment.

The Company reserves the right to deny claims where installation-related damage cannot be ruled out.


6. Limitation of Liability and Remedies

This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original purchaser.

To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Company’s maximum liability shall be limited to:

a) Replacement of the defective component; or
b) Refund of the purchase price of the component.

Under no circumstances shall liability exceed the original amount paid for the component.

The Company shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, device damage, or labour costs.


7. Chargeback and Dispute Obligations

Customers agree to follow the warranty claim procedure before initiating any chargeback or dispute.

Failure to present the component for inspection or refusal to cooperate may result in denial of warranty service and shall be considered a failure to mitigate damages.


8. Ontario Consumer Protection Act Compliance

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits non-waivable rights under the Ontario Consumer Protection Act, 2002.


9. Governing Law

This policy is governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and applicable federal laws of Canada.
