Product Description

Baseus Paper-Like Screen Protector for Apple iPad Pro 2024

Create a more natural writing, sketching, and note-taking experience on your Apple iPad Pro with the Baseus Paper-Like Screen Protector.

Its finely textured matte surface adds controlled friction beneath the Apple Pencil tip, helping the screen feel closer to paper than the smooth original glass. It is suitable for students, artists, designers, professionals, and other users who regularly write or draw on their iPad.

The matte finish also helps reduce glare, fingerprints, and distracting reflections during everyday use.

Paper-Like Writing Experience

The textured surface creates additional friction between the screen protector and stylus tip.

Compared with writing directly on smooth glass, this may provide:

  • Better control during handwriting
  • More deliberate pen strokes
  • Improved precision while sketching
  • Reduced stylus slipping
  • A more familiar notebook-like feel
  • Better control when drawing fine lines
  • A more tactile experience for digital art and annotation

The texture is intended to simulate the resistance of paper but will not feel exactly the same as writing on physical paper.

Writing feel may vary depending on:

  • Stylus model
  • Pencil-tip condition
  • Writing pressure
  • Drawing application
  • Screen-protector wear
  • Personal preference

Apple Pencil and Stylus Notice

This screen protector is intended for use with compatible Apple Pencil models and capacitive styluses.

Normal Apple Pencil features should remain available when the protector is installed correctly. However, writing feel, perceived sensitivity, line control, and tip movement may differ from using the uncovered display.

Test the following after installation:

  • Basic writing
  • Fine-line drawing
  • Pressure-sensitive strokes
  • Tilt and shading
  • Palm rejection
  • Double-tap or squeeze functions where supported
  • Touch gestures
  • Edge and corner response

Stylus performance may also be affected by:

  • Worn or damaged pencil tips
  • Incompatible third-party styluses
  • Incorrect installation
  • Dust or air beneath the protector
  • Software settings
  • Application-specific behaviour
  • Device or stylus faults

The Apple Pencil and other styluses are not included.

Pencil-Tip Wear Notice

A paper-like textured surface creates more friction than smooth glass.

This additional friction may cause Apple Pencil or stylus tips to wear more quickly, particularly with:

  • Heavy writing pressure
  • Frequent drawing
  • Long writing sessions
  • Sharp or damaged stylus tips
  • Repeated shading
  • Extensive professional use

Inspect the stylus tip regularly and replace it when it becomes flattened, rough, sharp, loose, or visibly worn.

A damaged stylus tip may scratch or mark the screen protector.

Replacement pencil tips are not included.

Matte and Anti-Glare Surface

The matte finish helps diffuse reflected light and may improve visibility in brightly lit rooms.

It may help reduce reflections from:

  • Ceiling lights
  • Windows
  • Desk lamps
  • Indoor lighting
  • Other bright surroundings

Anti-glare performance depends on the angle and intensity of the light source.

The protector does not eliminate all glare and is not intended to make the iPad fully readable under every lighting condition.

Display-Clarity Notice

Matte paper-like protectors intentionally alter the surface of the display.

Compared with an uncovered screen or clear glass protector, possible visual differences may include:

  • Slightly reduced sharpness
  • Reduced contrast
  • Minor colour softening
  • A subtle grain or texture
  • Reduced perceived brightness
  • Slightly less vivid blacks
  • Diffused reflections
  • Minor rainbow or sparkling effects under certain lighting conditions

These characteristics are common to textured matte screen protectors and do not necessarily indicate a defect.

Users who prioritize maximum display clarity, colour accuracy, contrast, or media viewing may prefer a clear screen protector.

Tandem OLED Display Notice

The 2024 iPad Pro uses a high-quality OLED display.

A paper-like protector may slightly alter the perceived clarity, brightness, contrast, colour, and black levels of the original display because of its textured matte surface.

This protector should not be represented as preserving the exact uncovered-display appearance.

Users performing colour-critical design, photography, video editing, or illustration work should evaluate whether the matte surface is suitable for their needs.

Touchscreen Performance

The protector is designed to preserve normal touchscreen operation when correctly installed.

After installation, test:

  • Touch response across the complete display
  • All four edges
  • All four corners
  • Multi-touch gestures
  • Pinch-to-zoom
  • Scrolling
  • Keyboard input
  • Home-screen gestures
  • Control Centre gestures
  • Apple Pencil input
  • Application-specific drawing tools

Touch issues may be caused by:

  • Incorrect alignment
  • Dust or debris beneath the protector
  • Air pockets
  • A damaged protector
  • Device software
  • Display damage
  • Stylus problems
  • Another installed screen layer

Do not install multiple screen protectors unless the products are specifically designed to be used together.

Scratch-Protection Notice

The protector helps shield the original iPad display from:

  • Minor scratches
  • Everyday surface wear
  • Pencil-tip contact
  • Light scuffs
  • Fingerprints and smudges

It is not designed to provide the same impact protection as a thick tempered-glass screen protector.

It may not prevent damage caused by:

  • Drops
  • Severe impact
  • Crushing
  • Sharp objects
  • Excessive pressure
  • Bent or twisted devices
  • Heavy items placed on the display
  • Sand, metal fragments, or hard debris

A protective case is recommended for additional device protection.

Case-Compatibility Notice

The protector is designed to fit the selected iPad Pro display, but compatibility with every protective case cannot be guaranteed.

Cases with tight raised edges may:

  • Press against the protector
  • Cause edge lifting
  • Create bubbles
  • Shift the protector
  • Reduce adhesive contact

Install the protector before fitting the case and confirm that the case does not press against its edges.

Installation Instructions

Install the protector in a clean, well-lit, and low-dust environment.

Before installation:

  1. Confirm the exact iPad model and screen size.
  2. Wash and dry your hands.
  3. Turn off the iPad.
  4. Remove the protective case.
  5. Clean the display thoroughly.
  6. Remove all dust, fingerprints, and residue.
  7. Test the alignment before exposing the adhesive.
  8. Confirm the camera and sensor openings are positioned correctly.

During installation:

  1. Place the iPad on a clean, flat surface.
  2. Use the included cleaning materials when supplied.
  3. Remove remaining dust with a dust-removal sticker or suitable alternative.
  4. Avoid touching the adhesive side.
  5. Align the protector carefully with the display.
  6. Lower it gradually onto the screen.
  7. Allow the adhesive to spread evenly.
  8. Push small air bubbles toward the nearest edge using a soft card or installation tool.
  9. Reinstall the case only after confirming proper adhesion.

Do not use excessive force or sharp tools during installation.

Package contents and installation accessories may vary.

Bubble and Adhesion Notice

Small air bubbles caused by trapped air may settle or become less noticeable after installation.

Bubbles caused by dust, debris, fingerprints, or incorrect alignment generally will not disappear without lifting or reinstalling the protector.

Edge lifting may result from:

  • Dust contamination
  • Repeated repositioning
  • Contact with a tight case
  • Bent or damaged protector material
  • Oil or residue on the display
  • Incorrect installation
  • High humidity or moisture
  • Damaged adhesive
  • Device-frame irregularities

Adhesive performance may be reduced after the protector has been removed or repositioned.

Cleaning and Maintenance

Clean the installed protector using:

  • A clean microfiber cloth
  • A lightly dampened soft cloth
  • A screen-safe cleaning solution when necessary

Avoid:

  • Abrasive cloths
  • Harsh chemicals
  • Bleach
  • Ammonia-based cleaners
  • Sharp tools
  • Excessive liquid
  • Spraying cleaner directly onto the iPad
  • Aggressive scrubbing

The textured surface may gradually become smoother in heavily used writing areas. Normal surface wear from writing and drawing is not considered a manufacturing defect.
