Privacy glass may slightly reduce display brightness, colour clarity, and viewing angles compared with clear glass. Increasing the phone’s display brightness may improve direct visibility.

Privacy Protection

The privacy option uses a viewing-angle filter to reduce screen visibility when viewed from the sides.

It may help protect information such as:

• Messages and emails

• Passwords and verification codes

Privacy performance depends on screen brightness, surrounding lighting, viewing angle, and the position of the person viewing the display.

The screen may remain partially visible from certain diagonal or vertical angles. Privacy glass does not guarantee complete confidentiality.

Everyday Screen Protection

The tempered-glass layer helps protect the original display from contact with keys, coins, dirt, and other objects commonly carried in pockets, handbags, and backpacks.

It also acts as a replaceable protective layer that may absorb some damage during minor impacts or accidental contact.

A screen protector may reduce the likelihood of damage but cannot guarantee that the phone’s display will remain undamaged during every drop or impact.

Product Quality Notes

Minor spacing around the edges may be intentional to improve compatibility with protective cases and reduce the risk of edge lifting.

The clear option provides the greatest transparency. The privacy option intentionally limits viewing angles and may make the display appear darker.

Expected characteristics of privacy glass include:

• Reduced side-angle visibility
• Slightly lower display brightness
• Minor reduction in colour clarity
• Narrower usable viewing angles

These characteristics are normal and are not considered manufacturing defects.

No screen protector can prevent all damage caused by severe drops, concentrated pressure, bending, crushing, or impact against sharp or uneven surfaces.

Installation Notes

For best installation results:

• Remove the phone case
• Clean and dry the display thoroughly
• Remove all dust, oil, and fingerprints
• Align the protector carefully before lowering it
• Press gently from the centre outward
• Allow minor air pockets to settle after installation

Dust, debris, fingerprints, incorrect alignment, or repeated removal may cause bubbles, reduced adhesion, or edge lifting.

Case Compatibility

The screen protector is designed for use with most standard protective cases.

Compatibility may vary with:

• Cases featuring unusually high front edges
• Cases that overlap the display area
• Full-body or waterproof cases
• Cases with built-in screen protection
• Damaged, stretched, or poorly fitted cases

Pressure from an incompatible case may cause the protector to lift around the edges.

Warranty

This accessory includes a 90-day limited warranty provided by 3C-Easy Markham against manufacturing defects.

The warranty does not cover:

• Cracks or chips caused by impact
• Scratches from ordinary use
• Improper installation
• Dust, debris, or bubbles introduced during installation
• Incorrect alignment
• Edge lifting caused by an incompatible case
• Removal or attempted reinstallation
• Accidental or physical damage
• Normal reduction in brightness or viewing angles caused by privacy filtering
• Damage to the phone or original display
