The cable supports a maximum charging output of up to 60W when used with a compatible USB-C charger and device.

The connected device controls how much power it accepts. The cable does not force 60W into lower-powered devices.

Suitable for Smartphones, Tablets and Laptops

Higher-performance laptops that normally use 65W, 90W, 100W, or higher adapters may charge more slowly, display a low-power-adapter warning, or lose battery power during demanding use.

Important Video Output Limitation

This cable does not support media or video display output.

It is not suitable for transmitting video through:

• External display connections

For video output, use a cable specifically rated for DisplayPort Alt Mode, Thunderbolt, USB4, or the display standard required by the connected equipment.

A USB-C connector does not automatically mean that a cable supports video transmission.

Charging Requirements

Fast charging requires every component in the charging system to support the required power level and charging protocol.

These components include:

1. The wall charger or other power source
2. The USB-C cable
3. The connected device
4. The charging protocol supported by both devices

For example, connecting this cable to a 20W wall charger will limit charging to a maximum of 20W, even though the cable itself supports up to 60W.

Similarly, a smartphone that accepts a maximum of 25W will not draw 60W simply because it is connected to a 60W charger and cable.

Cable Length Considerations

3FT Cable

The 3FT option provides a compact connection with minimal excess cable.

It may be preferable when:

• The charger is close to the device

6FT Cable

Installation and Use

1. Confirm that the charger and connected device both use USB-C.
2. Inspect the cable and both connectors for damage, moisture, debris, or corrosion.
3. Connect one USB-C end to a compatible charger or power source.
4. Connect the other USB-C end to the device.
5. Confirm that the device displays its normal charging indicator.
6. Disconnect the cable by holding the connector housing rather than pulling on the braided cord.

For data transfer, connect the cable between two compatible USB-C devices and follow the instructions provided by the device manufacturer.

The USB-C connectors are reversible and may be inserted in either orientation.

Some warmth near the connectors may occur during higher-powered charging. Excessive heat, melting, discolouration, smoke, sparking, or a burning smell is not normal.

Immediately disconnect and discontinue use if:

• The cable or connector becomes unusually hot
• Charging repeatedly connects and disconnects
• Either connector fits loosely
• The cable is visibly damaged
• The device displays a charging-accessory warning
• There are signs of moisture or corrosion
• The connector housing is cracked or separating

A damaged charging port, defective charger, contaminated connector, or malfunctioning device may also cause charging problems.
