The iPhone 12 Mini and iPhone 12 use dual-camera systems. The iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max use different multi-camera assemblies and are not interchangeable with each other or with the non-Pro models.

Common Camera-Failure Symptoms
Replacement may be appropriate when the rear camera:
- Displays a black preview
- Produces consistently blurry images
- Cannot focus properly
- Shakes, vibrates, or makes unusual noises
- Shows spots, lines, distortion, or discolouration
- Fails to switch between rear camera lenses
- Crashes or freezes when the Camera app is opened
- Stops working after impact or liquid exposure
- Produces unstable video caused by a damaged stabilization mechanism
These symptoms may also result from damaged camera lens glass, software problems, logic-board faults, connector damage, liquid ingress, or another defective component. Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing the camera module.
Product Quality Notes
This is a replacement component and may be aftermarket, refurbished original, pulled original, or otherwise sourced depending on the selected product option and available inventory.
Image quality, focus speed, stabilization, low-light performance, colour balance, and cosmetic condition may vary depending on the component grade.
The external rear-camera lens glass is not normally included. A cracked, scratched, dirty, or incorrectly installed lens cover may continue to affect image quality even after the internal camera module is replaced.
Apple Software and Pairing Notice
Apple may associate certain internal components with the original device.
Depending on the iPhone model, iOS version, replacement component, and installation procedure:
- A camera-related message may appear in Settings
- Certain camera functions may require calibration
- Camera performance may differ from the original factory configuration
- Repair history information may be displayed
- Some features may remain limited even when the camera produces an image

Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Camera replacement requires opening the device and carefully disconnecting internal components. Improper handling may damage the display, battery, camera connectors, logic board, Face ID-related components, or surrounding flex cables.
Before final installation:
- Confirm the exact iPhone model
- Inspect the replacement module and connectors
- Disconnect the battery before connecting or removing the camera
- Test the camera before resealing the device
- Confirm photo and video capture
- Test autofocus and image stabilization
- Test each available zoom level and camera lens
- Confirm flash operation
- Check for dust or debris inside the lens area
- Avoid touching the camera lenses or sensors
Do not force connectors into place. Bent pins, damaged sockets, torn flex cables, or excessive pressure may permanently damage the camera or logic board.
No tools, adhesive, or replacement display seal are included.
Warranty
This component includes a 30-day limited parts-only warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the applicable 3C-Easy Markham Component Warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
- Cracked or scratched external camera lens glass
- Dust or debris introduced during installation
- Torn, folded, punctured, or damaged flex cables
- Bent connector pins or damaged logic-board sockets
- Improper installation
- Physical or impact damage
- Liquid or corrosion damage
- Damage caused by excessive pressure or heat
- Software pairing, calibration, or parts-history messages
- Camera issues caused by unrelated components
- Labour, diagnostics, installation, removal, or related repair costs
The component must be connected and fully tested before final installation.
