Product Description
Premium OLED Replacement Screen for Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max
Restore image and touchscreen functionality on a compatible Apple iPhone 13 Pro Max with this Premium OLED replacement screen assembly.
This Premium display uses Hard OLED technology, making it a higher-quality replacement option than a Regular TFT LCD conversion. It is designed for customers and repair professionals who want OLED display characteristics, true black levels, stronger contrast, thinner construction, and better overall image quality than LCD-based replacement screens.
The Premium OLED option is a balanced choice for repairs where display quality matters, while still remaining more cost-effective than Premium Plus Soft OLED, refurbished original OLED, or genuine service replacement options.
Important: This is a high-quality aftermarket Hard OLED display. It is not a genuine Apple screen, refurbished original display, or Apple-authorized service component. Exact factory brightness, colour calibration, ProMotion behaviour, power efficiency, and long-term consistency cannot be guaranteed.

Hard OLED does not mean that the screen is unbreakable.
Compared with Soft OLED, Hard OLED may be more vulnerable to:
- Impact damage
- Frame stress
- Pressure damage
- Housing distortion
- Edge impact
- Internal OLED cracking
- Damage from bent or twisted frames
For the best durability and fitment, the device housing must be straight, clean, and free of deformation before installation.
Comparison with Other Screen Grades
Regular TFT LCD
A Regular LCD is generally the lowest-cost option.
Compared with Premium Hard OLED, it may have:
- Lower brightness
- Lower contrast
- Gray-looking blacks
- Increased thickness
- Higher power consumption
- Reduced viewing angles
- Reduced motion clarity
- Poorer housing fitment
- Reduced ProMotion performance
- Less original-like image quality

Premium Hard OLED provides OLED display characteristics at a more affordable price than Soft OLED or refurbished original options.
It may offer:
- True black levels
- Strong contrast
- Better colour than LCD
- Better power efficiency than LCD
- Thinner construction than LCD
- More original-like viewing performance
However, it may be less flexible and less impact-tolerant than Soft OLED.
Premium Plus Soft OLED
Premium Plus Soft OLED uses a flexible OLED substrate.
Compared with Premium Hard OLED, Soft OLED may offer:
- Better flexibility
- Better resistance to minor frame stress
- Improved shock tolerance
- More forgiving installation
- Better edge durability
- More original-like construction
- Better long-term fitment in some situations
Refurbished Original OLED
A refurbished original screen retains an original Apple OLED panel that has undergone restoration, normally including replacement of damaged outer glass.
It may provide performance closer to the original factory display but may also carry cosmetic, brightness, or usage-related variation.
Genuine Service Replacement
A genuine service replacement generally offers the strongest likelihood of factory-like brightness, calibration, fitment, ProMotion behaviour, and long-term consistency.
The Premium Hard OLED option is intended to provide a practical balance of OLED quality, affordability, and repair value.
OLED Display Characteristics
Unlike LCD screens, OLED displays use individually illuminated pixels and do not require a separate backlight.
Potential OLED benefits include:
- True black levels
- High contrast
- Strong dark-scene performance
- Better viewing angles
- Thinner construction
- Better power efficiency with dark content
- Faster pixel response
- Improved motion clarity
- Reduced backlight bleeding
OLED screens may still exhibit minor differences in:
- Maximum brightness
- Colour temperature
- White balance
- Low-brightness performance
- Display uniformity
- Pulse-width modulation behaviour
- Power consumption
- Touch response
- Long-term colour consistency
These differences may vary by manufacturer and production batch.
ProMotion and Refresh-Rate Notice
The original iPhone 13 Pro Max supports Apple ProMotion adaptive refresh-rate technology.
A Premium Hard OLED replacement may provide smoother motion and better refresh-rate behaviour than lower-grade LCD replacement screens.
However, exact factory ProMotion operation is not guaranteed.
Possible differences may include:
- Reduced maximum refresh-rate performance
- Less consistent adaptive refresh behaviour
- Slightly different scrolling smoothness
- Different touch-to-display response
- Reduced motion clarity in certain applications
- Operation closer to a fixed refresh-rate mode under some conditions
Refresh-rate performance may depend on:
- Replacement panel design
- Display controller
- iOS version
- Application
- Power-saving settings
- Device temperature
- Battery condition
- Production batch
The presence of smooth scrolling does not confirm identical factory ProMotion performance.
Brightness and Colour Notice
Premium Hard OLED screens are designed to provide stronger visual quality than LCD conversion screens.
However, differences from the original Apple screen may include:
- Lower peak brightness
- Different colour temperature
- Slightly different white balance
- Reduced outdoor visibility
- Different HDR performance
- Minor colour shift at low brightness
- Slightly different grayscale performance
- Different automatic-brightness behaviour
- Different colour consistency between production batches
Brightness may also be affected by:
- Auto-Brightness settings
- Ambient-light sensor operation
- Low Power Mode
- Device temperature
- Battery percentage
- iOS
- Installation quality
- Display programming
This Premium option is intended to provide better image quality than budget LCD replacements, but it should not be represented as identical to the original Apple screen.
Power Consumption and Battery Notice
OLED generally offers better power efficiency than TFT LCD conversion screens, especially when displaying dark content.
Actual battery performance still depends on:
- Display brightness
- Screen-on time
- Refresh-rate behaviour
- Battery condition
- Cellular signal
- Background applications
- Device temperature
- iOS version
- Installed applications
- Charging habits
The replacement screen may consume more or less power than the original display depending on its controller, brightness, content, and production batch.
A change in battery runtime after screen replacement does not automatically indicate a battery or screen defect.
Touchscreen Performance Notice
The replacement screen includes an integrated capacitive touchscreen layer.
Touch performance should be tested across the complete display before final installation.
Because the iPhone 13 Pro Max has a large display area, testing should be performed carefully across the entire screen.
Test:
- Centre of the screen
- All four edges
- All four corners
- Keyboard area
- Home gesture area
- Control Centre gestures
- Notification gestures
- Multi-touch gestures
- Long presses
- Dragging and scrolling
- Touch response while charging
Touch problems may also be caused by:
- Damaged display connectors
- Bent connector pins
- Logic-board faults
- Installation pressure
- Housing distortion
- Poor-quality charging accessories
- Thick or incompatible screen protectors
- Software problems
- Another defective component
Fitment and Hard OLED Handling Notice
Hard OLED screens are generally thinner than LCD conversion screens, but less flexible than Soft OLED screens.
Proper fitment depends on:
- Housing condition
- Frame straightness
- Removal of old adhesive
- Correct sensor and bracket placement
- Correct flex-cable routing
- Absence of debris
- Battery condition
- Installation quality
A bent or damaged housing may place pressure on the replacement OLED panel and cause internal damage.
Do not force the screen into a distorted frame.
Hard OLED panels may be damaged by:
- Twisting
- Bending
- Edge pressure
- Uneven frame pressure
- Internal debris
- Misplaced screws
- Swollen batteries
- Incorrect component placement
- Excessive force during installation
Because the iPhone 13 Pro Max is a large-screen model, housing distortion and uneven pressure may create greater risk of internal OLED damage.
Apple Display Notification and Software Notice
Depending on the iOS version, replacement component, and installation procedure:
- A display-related notification may appear
- An “Unable to verify” or similar message may be displayed
- Parts and Service History may record the screen replacement
- True Tone may become unavailable
- Display calibration may differ from the original configuration
- Brightness or colour behaviour may change
- Additional programming may be required to retain supported functions
A display-related notification does not necessarily mean that the replacement screen is defective.
Software updates may change how replacement displays, calibration, repair history, and notifications are handled.
True Tone Notice
True Tone may be unavailable after screen replacement unless the required original display data is transferred using compatible programming equipment.
Preserving True Tone may require:
- A readable original screen
- Compatible display-programming equipment
- Transfer of original display data
- Replacement-screen support for the transferred data
- Proper installation
True Tone restoration is not guaranteed.
Programming equipment, display-data transfer, and calibration services are not included with the screen.
Face ID and Front-Sensor Notice
Screen replacement does not normally require replacing the original Face ID components.
The original front camera, infrared camera, dot projector, earpiece speaker flex, proximity sensor, and ambient-light sensor should be retained whenever possible.
Improper handling may cause:
- Face ID becoming unavailable
- TrueDepth camera errors
- Proximity-sensor failure
- Automatic-brightness problems
- Front-camera problems
- Earpiece audio failure
- Front-microphone problems
- Attention-aware features becoming unavailable
A replacement screen will not repair existing Face ID or TrueDepth faults.
Handle all upper-sensor and earpiece components carefully during transfer and installation.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Replacing the screen requires opening the device and transferring or retaining delicate internal components.
Improper handling may damage:
- Replacement OLED panel
- Display flex cables
- Display connectors
- Logic-board sockets
- Battery
- Front camera
- Infrared camera
- Dot projector
- Earpiece speaker flex

Do not force connectors into place.
Bent pins, damaged sockets, torn flex cables, excessive pressure, or incorrect screw placement may permanently damage the screen or logic board.
OLED panels are sensitive to pressure. Internal debris, misplaced screws, swollen batteries, bent housings, or incorrectly positioned components may cause internal OLED damage even when the outer glass remains intact.
No tools, adhesive, replacement display seal, brackets, screws, programming equipment, or installation materials are included.
Water-Resistance Notice
Opening the device compromises the original factory seal.
A replacement perimeter display seal may help reduce exposure to dust and incidental moisture, but original water resistance cannot be restored or guaranteed after repair.
Proper screen fitment may improve perimeter seating compared with thicker LCD conversions, but it does not restore factory water resistance.
Avoid exposing a repaired device to:
- Water
- Steam
- Rain
- High humidity
- Condensation
- Other liquids
No claim of restored factory water resistance should be made after installation.
