Product Description
Replacement Back Camera Module for Apple iPhone 14 Series
Restore rear-camera photography, video recording, autofocus, stabilization, and related imaging functions on a compatible Apple iPhone 14 series device with this replacement back camera module.
This internal camera assembly replaces a damaged or malfunctioning factory rear-camera module. Depending on the selected model, the assembly may include two or three integrated camera units responsible for standard, ultra-wide, telephoto, macro, low-light, and video functions.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus use a dual-camera system, while the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max use a larger Pro-series triple-camera system.
Important: The back camera modules for the iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Plus, iPhone 14 Pro, and iPhone 14 Pro Max are different and are not interchangeable. Confirm the exact model number and compare the replacement module with the original camera assembly before ordering.

These symptoms do not always confirm that the rear-camera module is defective.
Diagnosis Before Replacement
Rear-camera problems may also be caused by:
- Cracked external camera lens glass
- Dirt, oil, or condensation over the external camera cover
- Logic-board damage
- Damaged camera connectors
- Bent or missing connector pins
- Liquid ingress
- Corrosion
- Software problems
- iOS camera errors
- Damaged flash or microphone components
- Damaged LiDAR hardware on Pro models
- Housing deformation
- Previous repair damage
- Magnetic interference
- Incompatible phone cases or accessories
- Defective replacement back glass or camera-lens covers
- Damage to another camera in the integrated module
Before replacing the camera module:
- Clean the external camera lenses.
- Remove the phone case and magnetic accessories.
- Test all available camera modes.
- Test all zoom ranges.
- Test photo and video recording.
- Restart the phone.
- Check for available iOS updates.
- Inspect the camera connectors and logic-board sockets.
- Check for impact, liquid, or corrosion damage.
- Confirm that the external camera-lens glass is clear and correctly installed.
Proper diagnosis is recommended before ordering or installing this component.
Camera-System Differences
iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus
The standard iPhone 14 models use a dual-camera arrangement consisting of:
- Main camera
- Ultra-wide camera
These models do not include the separate telephoto camera or LiDAR scanner found on the Pro models.
A replacement module may restore functions including:
- Standard photography
- Ultra-wide photography
- Portrait mode
- Night mode
- Video recording
- Cinematic mode
- Autofocus
- Image stabilization
- QR-code scanning
- Document scanning
iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max
The Pro models use a larger triple-camera system consisting of:
- Main camera
- Ultra-wide camera
- Telephoto camera
The device also includes a separate LiDAR scanner located in the rear-camera area.
A replacement camera module may restore functions including:
- Standard photography
- Ultra-wide photography
- Telephoto photography
- Macro photography
- Portrait mode
- Night mode
- ProRAW photography
- ProRes video
- Cinematic mode
- Autofocus
- Image stabilization
- QR-code scanning
- Document scanning
The replacement camera module does not normally include the separate LiDAR scanner, flash, rear microphone, camera-lens cover, or external camera glass unless expressly stated.
Autofocus Notice
The rear-camera system uses internal focusing mechanisms to produce clear images at different distances.
Autofocus problems may include:
- Constant focus hunting
- Failure to focus at close range
- Failure to focus at distance
- Blurred photographs
- Clicking or vibrating sounds
- Focus changing without user input
- One camera lens focusing correctly while another fails
Autofocus performance may also be affected by:
- Dirty external lens glass
- Cracked camera-lens glass
- Magnetic accessories
- Severe housing damage
- Software issues
- Low-light conditions
- Incorrect camera-module seating
- Logic-board faults
A camera replacement will not resolve autofocus problems caused by an obstructed or damaged external camera cover.
Optical Stabilization Notice
The rear-camera assembly may include optical or sensor-shift stabilization mechanisms depending on the selected model and camera lens.
Symptoms of stabilization failure may include:
- Shaking camera preview
- Vibrating image
- Clicking or buzzing sounds
- Blurred photographs
- Unstable video
- Image movement while the phone is stationary
Stabilization mechanisms are sensitive to:
- Severe impact
- Repeated vibration
- Magnetic interference
- Improper handling
- Excessive pressure
- Shipping damage
- Incorrect installation
Avoid exposing the replacement module to unnecessary impact, vibration, magnetic tools, or pressure.
Ultra-Wide Camera Notice
All listed iPhone 14 series models include an ultra-wide camera.
A failed ultra-wide camera may cause:
- Black screen at the ultra-wide zoom setting
- Blurry ultra-wide images
- Distorted image
- Failure to switch between lenses
- Camera-app freezing
- Poor low-light performance
- Macro mode failure on supported Pro models
The ultra-wide camera is integrated into the rear-camera module and is not normally replaced separately.
Telephoto Camera Notice
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max include an integrated telephoto camera.
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus do not include a separate telephoto camera.
Telephoto-camera problems may include:
- Black screen at telephoto zoom
- Failure to switch to the telephoto lens
- Blurry zoom photographs
- Focus failure
- Image shaking
- Camera-app freezing
- Automatic switching back to another lens
Lighting, subject distance, and iOS processing may cause the phone to use digital cropping or another camera instead of the telephoto lens in some conditions. This behaviour does not necessarily indicate a defect.
Macro Photography Notice
Macro photography is supported through the ultra-wide camera system on the iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max.
Macro problems may include:
- Failure to focus at close range
- Black screen during macro use
- Blurred close-up photographs
- Unstable lens switching
- Failure of automatic macro switching
The iPhone 14 and iPhone 14 Plus do not provide the same dedicated macro-camera behaviour as the Pro models.
Macro performance can also depend on:
- Lighting
- Subject distance
- Camera settings
- iOS
- External lens cleanliness
- Protective camera covers
- Replacement-camera calibration
Portrait and Depth-Effect Notice
Portrait mode relies on camera data, image processing, subject distance, lighting, and software.
On Pro models, LiDAR may assist certain depth-related and low-light functions, but the LiDAR scanner is generally separate from the camera module.
A rear-camera replacement may not resolve Portrait mode or depth problems caused by:
- LiDAR failure
- Logic-board faults
- Software issues
- Low-light conditions
- Incorrect subject distance
- Camera calibration problems
- Obstruction from a lens protector
- Damage to another rear component
LiDAR Notice for Pro Models
The iPhone 14 Pro and iPhone 14 Pro Max include a LiDAR scanner in the rear-camera area.
The replacement back camera module does not normally include the LiDAR scanner unless expressly stated.
Replacing the camera module will not repair:
- A defective LiDAR scanner
- LiDAR connector damage
- Logic-board LiDAR faults
- Augmented-reality problems caused by another component
- Depth-measuring faults unrelated to the camera module
After installation on a Pro model, test:
- Portrait mode
- Measure app
- Low-light focus
- Augmented-reality applications
- Camera switching
- Macro and telephoto functions
Flash and Rear Microphone Notice
The rear flash and rear microphone are separate from the back camera module on many device configurations.
A replacement camera module will not necessarily repair:
- Flash failure
- Flash synchronization problems
- Rear microphone failure
- Distorted video audio
- LiDAR failure
- Damaged external lens glass
Confirm which component is defective before ordering.
Replacement Component Quality Notes
Unless expressly identified as genuine, original, refurbished original, or pulled original, this product should be treated as a replacement camera module.
