This internal replacement component is available as either a refurbished original Samsung display with frame or a genuine Samsung Service Pack display with frame, depending on the selected option.

A screen assembly with frame includes the display preinstalled into a replacement midframe, reducing the need to separate and bond the display panel directly to the original frame. Internal components from the original phone must still be transferred to complete the repair.

  • New display assembly unless otherwise stated
  • Factory-installed replacement frame
  • Original display resolution, colour reproduction, brightness, and touch response

Refurbished Original Quality Notes

A refurbished original display retains an original Samsung AMOLED panel but has undergone restoration.

The refurbishment process may involve:

Display and Touchscreen Notice

The Galaxy Note 20 5G uses a Super AMOLED Plus display with an integrated capacitive touch layer and S Pen digitizer.

The replacement screen may resolve display and touch problems caused by a defective screen assembly, but it will not correct faults caused by:

In-Display Fingerprint Sensor Notice

The Samsung Galaxy Note 20 5G uses an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor positioned beneath the display.

The original fingerprint sensor is normally retained and transferred from the original device. It is not included with the replacement screen unless specifically stated.

After screen replacement:

  • The fingerprint sensor must be correctly positioned

Installation Notes

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Although the display is already installed into the replacement frame, this repair still requires extensive disassembly and transfer of internal components from the original phone.

Do not force connectors into place. Bent pins, damaged sockets, torn flex cables, excessive pressure, or incorrect screw placement may permanently damage the screen, frame, or mainboard.

The AMOLED panel is sensitive to pressure. Internal debris, misplaced screws, swollen batteries, or incorrectly positioned components may cause internal display damage even when the outer glass remains intact.

No tools, rear-cover adhesive, replacement seals, screen protector, or installation materials are included.

S Pen Compatibility Notice

The Galaxy Note 20 5G display includes a digitizer layer that detects the S Pen.

Before final installation:

  • Test the S Pen across the complete display
  • Check the centre, edges, and corners
  • Confirm pressure sensitivity where applicable
  • Check for dead zones or inaccurate tracking
  • Confirm Air Command activation
  • Confirm handwriting and drawing accuracy
  • Confirm that the phone detects removal and insertion of the S Pen
  • Check for interference caused by magnetic accessories

S Pen problems may be caused by the display digitizer, S Pen, internal magnets, magnetic cases or accessories, mainboard, software, or improper installation.

Testing touch input with a finger does not confirm that the S Pen digitizer is functioning correctly.

Water-Resistance Notice

Opening the device compromises the original factory seal.

A replacement rear-cover adhesive seal may help reduce exposure to dust and incidental moisture, but original water resistance cannot be restored or guaranteed after repair.

The replacement screen may be factory-installed into the frame, but the phone must still be opened and the rear cover resealed during installation.

Avoid exposing a repaired device to water, steam, high humidity, or other liquids.

Warranty

This component includes a 30-day limited parts-only warranty against manufacturing defects unless a different warranty period is specifically stated for the selected option, subject to the applicable 3C-Easy Markham Component Warranty.

The warranty does not cover:

  • Cracked, chipped, scratched, or shattered glass
  • Internal AMOLED damage
  • Black spots, lines, bleeding, or discolouration caused by pressure or impact
  • Damage caused by a bent or damaged device frame
  • Burn-in or image retention on refurbished original displays
  • Minor cosmetic variation consistent with a refurbished component
  • Torn, folded, punctured, stretched, or damaged display flex cables
  • Bent connector pins or damaged mainboard sockets
  • Damage to the fingerprint sensor
  • Fingerprint calibration or registration problems
  • Damage caused while transferring internal components
  • Incorrect regional, carrier, chipset, network, or model compatibility
  • Incorrect frame-colour selection
  • Improper installation or incorrect part selection
  • Physical, impact, pressure, or twisting damage
  • Liquid, moisture, or corrosion damage
  • Damage caused by excessive heat

The screen must be connected and fully tested before internal components are transferred and before the rear cover is sealed.

Remove all protective films only after confirming proper operation and fitment. Components with installation damage may not qualify for warranty coverage.
