Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing the battery.

Product Quality Notes

This is an AMPSENTRIX Basic aftermarket replacement battery.

It is not a genuine Apple battery and is not removed from a new Apple device.

Battery runtime and long-term consistency may vary depending on:

  • Device condition
  • Screen brightness
  • Cellular signal strength
  • Installed applications
  • Background activity
  • Charging habits
  • Operating temperature
  • iOS version
  • Logic-board condition
  • Battery age
  • Production batch

A replacement battery may improve runtime and stability, but it cannot correct excessive power consumption caused by software, damaged circuitry, poor signal conditions, or another defective component.

Actual battery runtime cannot be guaranteed because usage patterns and device conditions vary.

Standard-Capacity Notice

The AMPSENTRIX Basic series is intended as a standard-capacity replacement.

It is not marketed as an extended-capacity battery unless the selected product option specifically states otherwise.

Published or labelled capacity may differ slightly between production revisions. The battery label and product packaging should be treated as the applicable specification for the supplied component.

Claims of substantially higher capacity in a battery occupying the same physical space should be evaluated carefully.

Battery Health and Apple Parts Notice

Apple associates battery-management information with the device’s original battery components.

Depending on the iPhone model, iOS version, replacement battery, installation procedure, and whether original battery-management components are retained, transferred, or programmed:

  • A battery-related notification may appear
  • An ā€œUnable to verifyā€ or similar message may be displayed
  • Battery Health information may be unavailable
  • Maximum Capacity may not display normally
  • Parts and Service History may record the battery replacement
  • Battery cycle information may not match the original configuration
  • Additional programming or component transfer may be required

A battery-related notification or unavailable Battery Health information does not necessarily mean that the replacement battery is defective.

Restoring supported Battery Health information may require specialized programming, transfer of original battery-management components, or additional repair procedures.

These procedures are not included with the battery unless specifically stated.

Installation Notes

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

Battery replacement requires opening the device and handling a lithium-ion cell near delicate internal components.

Improper handling may damage:

  • OLED display
  • Display flex cables
  • Battery connector
  • Logic board
  • Charging port assembly
  • Wireless charging and MagSafe assembly
  • Cameras
  • Face ID-related components
  • Internal antennas
  • Surrounding flex cables
  • Taptic Engine
  • Speaker assemblies

Before final installation:

  • Confirm the exact iPhone model
  • Compare the replacement battery with the original component
  • Inspect the battery for dents, punctures, swelling, or shipping damage
  • Power off the device before opening it
  • Disconnect the battery before disconnecting or reconnecting other internal components
  • Avoid bending, puncturing, crushing, or twisting the battery
  • Remove the original battery adhesive carefully
  • Do not use sharp metal tools beneath the battery
  • Keep excessive heat away from the battery cell
  • Protect the display and Face ID-related flex cables
  • Confirm that the battery connector aligns correctly
  • Ensure the battery sits flat inside the housing
  • Confirm that no flex cable or internal component is trapped beneath the battery
  • Test wired charging before sealing the device
  • Test wireless and MagSafe charging
  • Confirm that the phone powers on normally
  • Check for unexpected restarting
  • Monitor battery temperature during initial testing
  • Test cameras, speakers, microphones, Face ID, cellular signal, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth
  • Confirm that the display closes without pressure or resistance

Never install a battery that is punctured, bent, crushed, leaking, swollen, or otherwise physically damaged.

Do not reuse damaged, stretched, or contaminated battery adhesive.

Battery Adhesive Notice

AMPSENTRIX batteries are generally supplied with preinstalled battery adhesive.

Included adhesive may vary by model, supplier, or production batch.

The battery adhesive is intended to secure the battery inside the housing. It is not a replacement display seal and does not restore water resistance.

Before installation:

  • Clean the battery mounting area
  • Remove old adhesive residue
  • Confirm that the battery is correctly positioned
  • Avoid covering connectors, cables, or screw locations
  • Do not press excessively on the battery cell
  • Ensure removal tabs remain accessible where applicable
  • Confirm that the adhesive does not interfere with the battery connector

A replacement display seal is not included unless specifically stated.

Lithium-Ion Battery Safety

Lithium-ion batteries can present a fire, burn, smoke, or chemical hazard when mishandled.

Do not:

  • Puncture the battery
  • Bend or crush the cell
  • Expose it to fire
  • Apply excessive heat
  • Short the terminals
  • Use metal tools carelessly around the battery connector
  • Install a damaged or swollen battery
  • Leave the device unattended during initial charging
  • Dispose of the battery in household garbage
  • Attempt to reuse a severely swollen battery
  • Charge a battery showing visible damage

Stop using the device and disconnect it from power if the battery:

  • Swells
  • Smokes
  • Leaks
  • Produces an unusual odour
  • Becomes excessively hot
  • Makes unusual sounds
  • Causes the display to lift from the housing

A removed lithium-ion battery should be taken to an appropriate battery-recycling or hazardous-waste facility.

Initial Charging and Calibration Guidance

After installation:

  • Charge the device using a known-good cable and suitable power adapter
  • Confirm that charging begins normally
  • Monitor the device for unusual heat
  • Allow the displayed battery percentage to stabilize
  • Use the device normally through several charging cycles
  • Avoid repeated intentional deep discharge
  • Keep the device away from extreme heat and cold
  • Update iOS where appropriate
  • Review battery usage for unusually power-intensive applications
  • Confirm that the battery percentage changes normally during charging and use

A newly installed battery may require several normal charging cycles before percentage reporting becomes fully consistent.

Repeatedly draining a lithium-ion battery to zero is not required and may contribute to unnecessary wear.

Swollen-Battery Notice

A swollen battery may place pressure on the display, logic board, housing, or internal components.

If the original battery is swollen:

  • Stop charging the device
  • Avoid pressing the display back into place
  • Do not puncture or bend the battery
  • Keep the device away from heat and flammable materials
  • Arrange professional removal as soon as reasonably possible

A swollen battery may already have caused damage to:

  • Display panel
  • Display adhesive
  • Housing
  • Internal flex cables
  • Wireless charging or MagSafe assembly
  • Logic board
  • Other internal components

Replacing the battery does not guarantee correction of damage caused by previous swelling.

Water-Resistance Notice

Opening the device compromises the original factory seal.

A replacement display adhesive seal may help reduce exposure to dust and incidental moisture, but original water resistance cannot be restored or guaranteed after repair.

Battery adhesive does not replace the perimeter display seal.

Avoid exposing a repaired device to water, steam, high humidity, or other liquids.

No replacement display seal is included unless specifically stated.
