Common Battery-Failure Symptoms

Battery replacement may be appropriate when the iPad:

• Drains significantly faster than expected
• Shuts down before reaching 0%
• Restarts unexpectedly
• Charges slowly or inconsistently
• Does not remain powered without a charger
• Displays an inaccurate battery percentage
• Has a swollen battery lifting the display
• No longer turns on because the battery cannot accept a charge

These symptoms can also result from charging-port, logic-board, charging-circuit, software, or accessory problems. Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing the battery.

This is a premium aftermarket replacement battery and is not manufactured by Apple.

Actual battery performance depends on the iPad’s condition, operating system, screen brightness, applications, charging habits, temperature, wireless activity, and condition of the charging circuitry.

A new battery will not correct excessive power consumption caused by a damaged logic board, faulty charging circuit, liquid damage, software malfunction, or another defective component.

Several complete charge-and-discharge cycles may be required before the battery percentage becomes fully consistent after installation.

Installation Notes

Professional installation is strongly recommended.

iPad battery replacement requires removal of the bonded front display assembly and careful separation of the original battery from the housing. Depending on the iPad Air generation, the procedure may involve transferring or temporarily removing other internal components.

Before installation:

• Confirm the exact iPad model
• Inspect the replacement battery for physical damage
• Disconnect the original battery before connecting the replacement
• Test charging and battery recognition before final reassembly
• Ensure the battery lies flat without bending, puncturing, or pressure

Improper handling of a lithium-ion battery may cause fire, smoke, chemical leakage, swelling, or serious device damage.

No tools or display adhesive are included. Pre-installed battery adhesive, where provided, is intended to secure the battery inside the housing and does not replace the adhesive required to reinstall the display.

Warranty

This component includes a 30-day limited parts-only warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the applicable 3C-Easy Markham Component Warranty.

The warranty does not cover:

• Normal battery-capacity degradation
• Swelling caused by heat, misuse, overcharging, or device faults
• Punctured, bent, torn, crushed, or physically damaged batteries
• Damaged battery connectors or flex cables
• Improper installation
• Liquid or corrosion damage
• Damage caused by incompatible chargers or power accessories
• Charging or power issues caused by unrelated components
• Labour, diagnostics, installation, removal, or related repair costs

The battery must be inspected and tested before final installation.
