Common Battery-Failure Symptoms
Battery replacement may be appropriate when the iPad:

Product Quality Notes
This is a premium aftermarket replacement battery and is not manufactured by Apple.
Actual battery life will depend on:
- The iPad’s age and overall condition
- Screen brightness
- Installed applications
- Background activity
- Wi-Fi or cellular usage
- Operating temperature
- Charging habits
- Condition of the charging port and logic board
A new battery will not correct excessive power consumption caused by a logic-board fault, charging-circuit problem, liquid damage, software malfunction, or another defective component.
Several complete charging cycles may be required before the displayed battery percentage becomes fully consistent after installation.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
iPad battery replacement requires removal of the strongly bonded display assembly and careful separation of the original battery from the housing. Improper handling can damage the display, logic board, battery connector, or other internal components.
Before final installation:
- Confirm the exact iPad model number
- Inspect the replacement battery for physical damage
- Disconnect the original battery before connecting the replacement
- Test charging and battery recognition
- Confirm the battery remains flat inside the housing
- Ensure no cables or components are trapped beneath the battery
- Test the device before resealing the display
Never bend, puncture, crush, heat, or install a damaged lithium-ion battery. Mishandling may cause fire, smoke, chemical leakage, swelling, or serious device damage.
No tools or display adhesive are included. Pre-installed battery adhesive, where provided, secures the battery inside the housing and does not replace the adhesive needed to reinstall the iPad display.
Shipping Restrictions
Due to lithium-ion battery transportation restrictions:
- This product cannot be shipped to the United States.
- Shipping is available only within Canada.
- This product is eligible for ground shipping only.
- Air, express-air, and international shipping options are not available.
Orders containing batteries may require a longer delivery time than products eligible for air transportation.
Warranty
This component includes a 30-day limited parts-only warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the applicable 3C-Easy Markham Component Warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
- Normal battery-capacity degradation
- Swelling caused by heat, misuse, overcharging, or device faults
- Bent, punctured, torn, crushed, or physically damaged batteries
- Damaged battery connectors or flex cables
- Improper installation
- Liquid or corrosion damage
- Damage caused by unsuitable chargers or power accessories
- Charging or power issues caused by unrelated components
- Labour, diagnostics, installation, removal, or related repair costs
The battery must be inspected and tested before final installation.
Important Notes
- Battery only; iPad and installation tools are not included.
- Select the correct iPad generation before ordering.
- Confirm the model number rather than relying only on screen size or appearance.
- Battery adhesive may be pre-installed, but display adhesive is not included.
- Never install a swollen, bent, punctured, leaking, or otherwise damaged battery.
- Do not reuse or reinstall a swollen battery.
- Dispose of the original battery through an approved battery-recycling facility.
- Water and dust resistance cannot be guaranteed after the iPad has been opened.
