Product Description
Replacement Charging Port for Apple iPhone 12 Series
Restore wired charging and related lower-flex functions on a compatible Apple iPhone 12 series device with this replacement charging port assembly.
This internal component is designed to replace a damaged or defective Lightning charging port flex affected by intermittent charging, failed USB connections, loose cable fitment, microphone problems, physical connector damage, or other hardware-related faults.
Each iPhone 12 series model uses a specific charging port assembly. Select the exact phone model before ordering, as these components are not interchangeable.

- Professional installation strongly recommended
- Inspected or tested before shipment when applicable
Common Charging-Port Failure Symptoms
Replacement may be appropriate when the device:
- Does not charge through a Lightning cable
- Charges only when the cable is held at a particular angle
- Repeatedly connects and disconnects while charging
- Displays an accessory or charging-related warning
- Is not detected by a computer
- Cannot complete USB data transfer
- Has a loose, bent, damaged, or corroded charging port
- Has compacted debris that cannot be safely removed
- Has poor microphone performance during calls or recordings
- Produces muffled, distorted, quiet, or intermittent lower-microphone audio
- Stops charging after impact or liquid exposure
- Charges wirelessly but not through the Lightning connector
These symptoms may also be caused by a defective battery, damaged charging cable, unsuitable power adapter, contaminated connector, charging-control circuit fault, logic-board damage, software problem, liquid ingress, or another defective component.
Proper diagnosis is recommended before replacing the charging port assembly.
Product Quality Notes
This replacement charging port may be aftermarket, refurbished original, pulled original, or otherwise sourced depending on the selected product option and available inventory.
Charging speed, connector fitment, microphone performance, data-transfer stability, flex-cable appearance, component markings, and included subcomponents may vary depending on the component grade and production batch.
Some replacement assemblies may include integrated microphones, antenna contacts, grounding points, or other small components. Included features may vary by model and supplier. Compare the replacement part carefully with the original assembly before installation.
A replacement charging port will not resolve charging problems caused by the battery, logic board, charging-control circuitry, damaged connectors, unsuitable accessories, or software.
Apple Software, Sensor, and Compatibility Notice
Apple devices monitor communication with multiple internal components.
Depending on the iPhone model, iOS version, replacement component, component quality, and installation procedure:
- Charging or USB performance may differ from the original configuration
- Microphone performance may require testing after installation
- A poorly connected or defective flex assembly may cause instability
- Missing or improperly functioning flex-cable components may contribute to unexpected restarts
- Diagnostic or panic logs may appear when a required sensor or communication line is not detected
- Certain accessory compatibility may vary
- Fast charging may depend on the cable, adapter, battery condition, and charging circuitry
Unexpected restarting after charging-port replacement does not necessarily indicate a logic-board defect. The replacement flex, connectors, grounding contacts, and installation should be inspected first.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Charging-port replacement requires substantial disassembly and careful removal of internal components. Improper handling may damage the display, battery, loudspeaker, Taptic Engine, cameras, antennas, logic board, Face ID-related components, flex cables, or connector sockets.
Before final installation:
- Confirm the exact iPhone model
- Compare the replacement assembly with the original part
- Inspect all connectors, microphones, contacts, and flex sections
- Disconnect the battery before removing or connecting components
- Remove dust, lint, corrosion, and debris from the surrounding area
- Test wired charging before resealing the device
- Test charging with more than one known-good cable and adapter
- Confirm USB connection and data transfer with a computer
- Test lower-microphone performance
- Test voice recordings, calls, and speakerphone operation
- Check loudspeaker and Taptic Engine operation
- Confirm that the device does not restart unexpectedly
- Inspect all grounding contacts and antenna connections
- Test wireless charging to identify unrelated charging faults
Do not force connectors into place. Bent pins, damaged sockets, torn flex cables, misplaced screws, or excessive pressure may permanently damage the charging port assembly or logic board.
The charging port opening must be aligned correctly with the housing before screws are tightened. Poor alignment may cause difficult cable insertion, incomplete connection, or premature port damage.
No tools, adhesive, or replacement display seal are included.
Water-Resistance Notice
Opening the device compromises the original factory seal.
A replacement display seal may help reduce exposure to dust and incidental moisture, but original water resistance cannot be restored or guaranteed after repair.
The charging port assembly must be positioned and sealed correctly. Improper installation may leave openings that allow moisture or debris to enter the device.
Avoid exposing a repaired device to water, steam, high humidity, or other liquids.
Warranty
This component includes a 30-day limited parts-only warranty against manufacturing defects, subject to the applicable 3C-Easy Markham Component Warranty.
The warranty does not cover:
- Debris, lint, dirt, or contamination inside the charging port
- Bent, broken, damaged, or corroded connector pins
- Torn, folded, punctured, stretched, or damaged flex cables
- Damaged microphones, antenna contacts, or grounding points
- Bent connector pins or damaged logic-board sockets
- Improper installation or incorrect part selection
- Physical, impact, or pressure damage
- Liquid, moisture, or corrosion damage
- Damage caused by excessive heat or soldering
- Damage caused by unsuitable charging accessories
- Charging issues caused by the battery or logic board
- USB or microphone problems caused by unrelated components
- Software, accessory, sensor, or compatibility limitations
- Unexpected restarting caused by installation damage or unrelated faults
- Labour, diagnostics, installation, removal, or related repair costs
The component must be connected and fully tested before final installation.
