Product Quality Notes
This replacement charging port flex cable may be aftermarket, refurbished original, pulled original, or otherwise sourced depending on the selected product option and available inventory.
Charging speed, connector fitment, microphone performance, data-transfer stability, flex-cable appearance, component markings, antenna performance, and included subcomponents may vary depending on the component grade and production batch.
Depending on the model and supplier, the charging port flex assembly may include:
- Lightning charging connector
- Lower microphone or microphones
- Flex-cable connector
- Antenna contacts
- Grounding contacts
- Supporting electronic components
- Mounting or alignment sections
Included components may vary. Compare the replacement flex carefully with the original component before installation.
The original bracket, mesh, gasket, antenna contact, or another small component may need to be transferred.
A replacement charging port flex will not resolve charging problems caused by the battery, logic board, charging-control circuitry, damaged board connectors, unsuitable accessories, or software.
Apple Software, Sensor, and Compatibility Notice
Apple devices monitor communication with multiple internal components and sensors.
Depending on the iPhone model, iOS version, replacement component, component quality, and installation procedure:
- Charging or USB performance may differ from the original configuration
- Microphone performance may require testing after installation
- A poorly connected or defective flex assembly may cause instability
- Missing or improperly functioning flex-cable components may contribute to unexpected restarting
- Diagnostic or panic logs may appear when a required sensor or communication line is not detected
- Certain wired accessory compatibility may vary
- Fast charging may depend on the cable, adapter, battery condition, and charging circuitry
Unexpected restarting after charging-port replacement does not necessarily indicate a logic-board defect.
The replacement flex, connectors, grounding contacts, microphones, supporting sensors, and installation should be inspected first.
Unexpected Restart and Sensor Notice
The iPhone 13 series monitors specific components connected through internal flex cables.
A defective, incompatible, damaged, or poorly connected charging port flex may contribute to repeated restarting, including restarts occurring at regular intervals.
Possible causes include:
- Missing sensor communication
- Defective replacement flex cable
- Damaged flex connector
- Bent connector pins
- Torn traces
- Poor grounding
- Damaged microphones or supporting components
- Incomplete connector seating
- Liquid or corrosion damage
- Logic-board faults
The exact restart code and required sensor may vary by model.
A replacement charging port flex should be fully connected and tested before the device is sealed. Panic or diagnostic logs should be reviewed when restarting continues.
Replacing the charging port flex does not guarantee resolution when the fault is caused by the logic board, damaged connector sockets, missing board components, or another internal flex assembly.
Lightning Charging and USB Accessory Notice
The replacement charging port is designed to support compatible Lightning charging and USB functions.
Depending on the device, cable, adapter, software, and component quality, supported functions may include:
- Standard wired charging
- Compatible fast charging
- Connection to a Mac or PC
- USB data transfer
- Device recovery or update through a computer
- Compatible Lightning accessories
- Wired audio accessories where supported
- Vehicle or docking connections
Not every Lightning cable supports the same charging stability, data transfer, or accessory functionality.
A cable that charges the device successfully may not support computer connection or data transfer.
After installation, test the port using more than one known-good cable, adapter, and computer where possible.
Microphone and Call-Audio Notice
The charging port flex assembly may contain one or more microphones used for calls, recordings, video, noise control, or other audio functions.
After installation, test:
- Standard phone calls
- Speakerphone calls
- Voice Memos
- Front-camera video recording
- Rear-camera video recording
- Voice-assistant operation
- Supported video-calling applications
- Microphone performance with and without a protective case
Poor microphone performance may also be caused by:
- Blocked microphone openings
- Adhesive covering the microphone mesh
- Dirt or liquid contamination
- Incorrect flex positioning
- Damaged microphone gaskets
- Logic-board audio faults
- Other microphones in the device
- Software settings
- An incompatible protective case
A charging port flex replacement does not guarantee resolution of every microphone or audio problem.
Fast-Charging Notice
The iPhone 13 series supports compatible wired fast charging when used with suitable equipment.
Charging speed depends on:
- Compatible USB-C power adapter
- Suitable USB-C to Lightning cable
- Battery level
- Battery temperature
- Device temperature
- Battery condition
- iOS
- Background activity
- Charging-port condition
- Logic-board charging circuitry
- Replacement flex quality
Charging normally slows as the battery approaches full capacity.
A replacement charging port cannot increase the device beyond its supported charging rate and will not correct charging limitations caused by the battery, cable, adapter, software, or logic board.
Installation Notes
Professional installation is strongly recommended.
Charging-port flex replacement requires substantial device disassembly and careful removal or transfer of internal components.
Improper handling may damage:
- OLED display
- Display flex cables
- Battery
- Loudspeaker
- Taptic Engine
- Cameras
- Logic board
- Face ID-related components
- Antennas
- Wireless charging and MagSafe assembly
- Internal flex cables

Do not force connectors into place. Bent pins, damaged sockets, torn flex cables, misplaced screws, or excessive pressure may permanently damage the charging port flex or logic board.
The Lightning connector must be correctly aligned with the housing opening before surrounding components are secured. Poor alignment may cause difficult cable insertion, incomplete connection, housing pressure, or premature port damage.
No tools, adhesive, replacement display seal, brackets, screws, or installation materials are included.
Model Compatibility and Part Comparison Notice
The four iPhone 13 series models use different:
- Flex-cable shapes
- Connector positions
- Microphone arrangements
- Antenna contacts
- Mounting points
